Alumni: Björn Lindberg

bjorn_lindberg_rectName: Björn Lindberg
Interaction design student during the years: 2006 – 2007
Current job title: Senior Product Design Lead
Company: Spotify

How would you describe your job?
It’s both exciting and challenging to design a product like Spotify. Not only is it used by millions of people that truly love the app, but they are very different from one another as well. My job is to try to cater for all these different personas and use cases. To do that I constantly look at our data, develop and evaluate various concepts and designs.

Interaction Design books

The library is moving in!

To our great delight, we will soon be sharing spaces with Chalmers Library. The basement and entry floor of our house, Kuggen, is being completely remodeled. The basement will feature nice nooks and crannies for reading, whereas the entry level will provide services. As for the second floor — where our design studios and class rooms High and Low reside — the main areas will be turned into study spaces. And everywhere: books, books books! If all goes according to plan, the work will be finished in October.
