As you may know, ID&T-teacher Josef Wideström came in second place in the TV-show Battle of the Geniouses (Genikampen). Josef will treat us with a seminar on his experiences: “Quick and Dirty Prototyping: Design Experiences from Genikampen”
The seminar takes place 1st of November, 13.15-14.00 in room Windows, floor 2 in house Kuggen, campus Lindholmen.
Name: Björn Lindberg Interaction design student during the years: 2006 – 2007 Current job title: Senior Product Design Lead Company: Spotify
How would you describe your job?
It’s both exciting and challenging to design a product like Spotify. Not only is it used by millions of people that truly love the app, but they are very different from one another as well. My job is to try to cater for all these different personas and use cases. To do that I constantly look at our data, develop and evaluate various concepts and designs.
Welcome to the new version of ixdcth.se! Here, we will showcase the Interaction Design & Technologies master programme at Chalmers, featuring information on why to apply. This site will grow further sections as time passes.
If you are a current student, or just curios to see what is going on in the daily life of ID&T, check out our Ping-Pong hub page for daily news and details, as well as links to other courses and useful resources.
To our great delight, we will soon be sharing spaces with Chalmers Library. The basement and entry floor of our house, Kuggen, is being completely remodeled. The basement will feature nice nooks and crannies for reading, whereas the entry level will provide services. As for the second floor — where our design studios and class rooms High and Low reside — the main areas will be turned into study spaces. And everywhere: books, books books! If all goes according to plan, the work will be finished in October.
