ABOUT LITERATURE
You are expected and asked to find related literature during the course.
Note! Some papers are to be downloaded from ACM's digital library, you are able to access this library if connected to Internet at the IT-University, Chalmers and GU. You might not be able to access ACM at home! (Unless you have a Chalmers library card and therefore are able to log in at Chalmers Library, choose 'databaser' in the upper meny and then ACM Digital Library)
READING HELP!
Here is a guide on how to read an article.
Here is an example of the article "Design: Cultural Probes" analysed with the reading guide.
Reading Instructions
Papers to be read in advance are marked with *. This does not mean you should not read the others, just that these are texts that are useful to start with.
A note: below, you will not find many references to the course book, Designing Interactions. This is not to say that you should not read it, but rather that you should work with it in parallel to the themes we explore each week. The intention is that you can use it to build an understanding of the repertoire of interaction design, as inspiration and insight into what people are working with and how.
